- The day went fast. The walk by the lake was pleasant. Vernon took multiple photos of the Canadian geese, colorful flowers, dogs chasing each other, and, of course, Lara and me. Most of the time, Lara and I strolled hand in hand, ignoring Vernon shooting his pictures. We arrived back home in the afternoon. The couple sat in front of the TV in the living room, while I elected to sleep for an hour.
